Cat: It have sure been some time.
Dog: I know.
Cat: I've missd you.
Dog: I missed you too.
Cat: ...When will you be coming back?
Dog: ... I'll never come back.
Cat: But... Why!?
Dog: Shhhh... I have to go.
Cat: Don't leave me... You were my friend.
Dog: Were? You don't wanna be my friend anymore?
Cat: Of course I do! But... You're.... not here.
Dog: I can still be your friend. I'll always be your friend, even when you can't see me.
Cat: ...But how will I know? How will I be able to talk to you again?!
Dog: Shhhh... I'm always here. Everything around you... it's me. I'll always be with you...
*Fades.*
Cat: But... but.... NOVA!
Nova: *Licks cat's face.*
Cat: *Cuddles.*
Nova: Take care...
*Fades.*
Nova: Take care of everyone else...
*Fades.*
Nova: Legolas...
*Fades.*
Legolas: Yes?
*Almost gone.*
Nova: ...Always....friends...
*Gone.*
Legolas: ... Forever.

More than a month have passed.
I still think about you... Alot.
I still cry...
Of course, it's easier with out new pup, Alice. It's not that... empty. But I still miss you.

This is a little tribute to Nova and one of my cats, Legolas. (LOTR fan when I was younger.)
Legolas was the one cat who didn't run away when Nova came running. They played alot together.
Nova used to lay down whenever she saw Legolas, and he'd walk up to her, put both his paws around her cheeks and cuddle his face into hers.
(He does that to me too, it's really sweet.)
They were still cat and dog, and didn't really show that much. But I could see that they really liked eachother. The other cats liked Nova too, although some hated her, but Legolas were diffrent... Nova liked him too, although he could be annoying sometimes.

I guess he was kinda confused the first week when Nova passed. He's still kinda confused, even now when we have Alice. He likes her too, cuddles with her and stuff, and I really hope that they might become good friends too~
But she's only a pup now, and everything she thinks about is chasing him

It was really relaxing to draw this... the colors... the mood... everything. I had to take a break from the commissions. Draw something easy. It's simple... yet I like it.
I know the cat isn't that great, but it kinda looks like my real cat. (He's still alive, btw.)
And yes, he have a scar like that on his face.

When you've been friends for such a long time... you simply do not let go.
No matter if one of them passed away... They still have that bond.
I'm sure you have a guardian angel, watching over you, Legolas.
We all do.
